Saint Louis University Hospital's Auxiliary Hospitality House provides a home away from home for families and eligible patients who need quiet, affordable housing.

A total of 23 rooms are available for guests -- 18 queen rooms (two queen beds), four twin rooms (two twin beds), and one single room. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, television with basic cable and a private telephone line connected to the hospital switchboard. A smoke-free environment is maintained and enforced.

Guest Eligibility
Guests are limited to families of inpatients, pre and post-hospitalized patients and outpatients. If patient or guest's condition warrants, there must be a competent adult in attendance. A shuttle service is provided weekdays for patients only.  Ask the house staff for details. Children under 14 are not allowed to stay at the house. Medical treatment and/or services are not permitted in the house.

Reservations
Advance reservations cannot be accepted. Room availability is based on daily turnover. To inquire about a room, call the Hospitality House on the day of your arrival at (314)268-5350 on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Evening check-ins must be arranged before 3:30 p.m. On weekends, please call between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. 

Escort Service
The SLU Hospital Protective Services department provides escorts to walk guests between the hospital and the Hospitality House during the evening and night-time hours.

Parking
The SLU Hospital Auxiliary Hospitality House provides eight free parking spaces for guests on a first-come, first served basis. One is reserved for handicapped parking. Alternate parking is available for a fee in the hospital garage.
